Hi,
I wanted to thank everyone who replied to my post.
You gave me great tips.
I lost the thread and couldn't find this forum-- hense my long overdo "Thank You!"
Okay, Okay...now you know. I'm a computer idiot.
We're going to be seeing my daughter's MD. and Allergist soon and I'll ask them both about scuba diving.
I should have been clearer about who didn't "get the breathing" in my post.
It is me who didn't get the breathing while snorkling. My daughter snorkles for hours with out a problem. She got it right away and left me at the shore!
Is there any hope for me? We were planning to take lessons together, and have a sport/hobby to do together in the future.
Scuba diving is a science in itself. We've lots to learn on this subject too.

We were watching an Oceanography video the other day and we noticed that when diving in a submersible the divers didn't use a regulator.
Would an asthmatic have the same restrictions in a submersible? Just curious.
