I tried rotating it 90 degrees but its the same?

If you bought it from Backscatter, why not send them the picture and get help from them?? They are very good in technical support and they would know the best and quickest answer.
 
If i remember correctly dont you need to zoom the lens a bit
 
Huh... they do heavily advertise no vignetting and no zooming required with the tg6 on their website since the lens supposedly was designed for 24mm focal length.

Possible the hood isn't slid fully down in place?

Do you have the quick release adapter or just screwing it directly into the 52mm port on the pt-059?

it can only slide on so much
then bolts on
I checked that yesterday

actually you cannot bolt it on further in or more outwards
theres only a single slot that determines its exact location on the lens

no quick release adapter or step up/down ring

Just a quick question, what is the zoom range of your TG-6?
