DFW area and around Texas---- One day spring like 71f degrees clear to PC skies, and the next day windy and chilly at 32f with cloud's and flurries now and then. Only in TEXAS gotta love it! :dontknow:

Its because I got all my dive gear out on Friday to go diving to try out my new toys.

wasn't gonna dive this weekend, but curling up on a cold weekend with assorted gear items preping things for when it does warm up.....and another new dive light showed up today...KEWL! :)

Hell, if you don't like Texas weather, just wait for 15 minutes.

I hope it doesn't snow too bad at Athens tomorrow!

I was planning on diving tomm. to try out several new items myself---RATS!

Yup, torture.

Thursday, my wife and I did 11 miles on the trails of the Wichita Mountains and it was sunny, warm, and beautiful. Today, I had to settle for doing a thousand yards in an indoor pool. Even though I had a mask and snorkel (so THAT'S what those things are for...), it still wasn't diving, but it sure did whet my appetite for some multi-tank days!

So, we came home and drooled over the list of resorts we're contemplating in Ambergris Caye, Belize!

I wanna go to Ambergris ! ! !

I looked at the weather forecast and played hooky Thursday, went diving with my son at the blue hole, water 61F, air 70F nice and sunny. Saturday, I broke out my cross country skis and toured the neighborhood and some fields in 5" inches of snow (The people in the hood all know I am a crazy Yankee, who cares). Next week, who knows for sure???

scubafanatic, was it the dorcy dive II 220? still waiting on mine.

One of my best friends from DeSoto High School is a house musician at a resort in San Pablo! The wife and I plan to get down there to do some diving and party with him on our surface intervals asap. His name is Tull, if you head down look up Tull Rea and Brandi Page and find out where they're playing, it's always a good time.

Holy crap, so we go to San Diego for a week, do some diving, and I'm now sitting here with 6" of snow on the ground with a massive sun burn. How does this make any sense?

Oh well, sooner or later we'll get back out to Terrell to configure our new gear and all will be right in the world. Friggin weather
