Texas Sponge Gardens

Has anyone dove the Sponge Gardens? I think I dove this place or a similar place around 1982. I recall it being deep and very clear, out of South Padre. I don't recall that being the name but it shows on Google Earth Oceans as the Sponge Gardens. Any info on this area?

I think you must be talking about this American Diving-Sponge Gardens unless you are thinking of flower gardens. Either way, American Diving will be the ones to contact for some diving down there, unless you are bringing your boat. Sounds like something k-valve might like.

No, but I am willing to give it a go....as would Rum Bum and a few others from this area.
