Hello;
I will be in Brownsville on business the weekend of March 28-29, and have that Sunday off. I'm thinking of trying to do some diving, either on the Clipper or, I suppose, a rig trip. I have a couple of questions. First, any recommendations for a dive op and specific trip? I visited on website and it said that their clipper trips will start on April 1, just a little too late for me.
Another question is about conditions this time of year. I looked at the weather buoy info for Corpus, and it said 68.5 degrees, seas 4-5 feet. That's pretty chilly for me, but I have a decent 5 mil semi-dry and could buy a hooded vest.
I'll be there alone, so I'd also be looking for potential buddies or just hopping on to an existing charter. Thanks!
