If you can track down a 10/20/30% RH disk these allow for continuous monitoring of humidity. Change the filter when the 20% disk goes pink

When I worked at the lab and could test my compressor weekly/monthly I would just watch the moisture. Once it started going up it was time to change.

Of course this isn't an option for pretty much everybody else.

what value you used to refference? CGA E? OCA? dew point and water vapor at ppm?

Canada CSA Z275. Water vapour max is 27ppm (-53c).
