Hi,

I went out this Sunday with capt'n Steve to the Chester. Conditions could not be better at least 30ft. Water temp 36oF max depth low tide 89fst. Full boat...about 9 or so!

I took my wide angle setup for the first time. I was not happy with the results...no it was not the gear but the carrier....

Any way I managed to get some few pics....I promise to come back and do better !

As always, wonderful pics. Thank you. Hope it's that nice today.

Thanks, those shots were nice to see.

Looks like excellent vis. You said at least 30', but it looks like quite a bit more in that shot across the deck.

Nice.

Not bad at all for a first time. How many strobes were you using? I most often see people using two high-quality strobes when trying for high-quality WA shots. Almost anyone can shoot macro; WA is much harder.

Nice pics.

Are those guys carrying stages or slung ponies?

Hi,

I actually took small strobes YS90x. Since, my YS300 are out of the game until I can figure out the DIY charger. WA I did have hard time, even with good light/vis. Definitely need another source of light (perhaps my HAL HID) besides the strobes.

The pictures came up with noise…due low light condition and probably not the right settings on the camera. I will be back after this first try. Thanks for your comments…

We had a rebreather diver with his pony alu 80 it beats my Pony 40 !!!

I was on the dive, you captured two of our guys. Great dive! I just done it all again in my head looking at the pictures.
Thanks for sharing

Yeah, the green ocean really brings up the color of my eyes in this picture. ;)
Nice camera work, Ed.

Hey Ed, nice shots! Any chance of you emailing me these in high res? I need a new desktop background for work.
