Tenkiller is on my dive site list to visit once I am out of the shop. Troy and I bought an 8.5 wide by 14 foot long trailer this past week. We are loading up the motorcycles and it has enough room for 2 or 3 sets of scuba gear. My in-laws live in Muskogee, not to far from there. Great trip report, thanks for posting. I have had a lot of meals at Fin and Feather, one of my favorite places. We certified in Tenkiller, OW and AOW, with Tim Knight of Nautical Adventures in Cookson. We love that lake. Time to go back and relax!

Huh? No speeding tickets in 15 years ???
You are better than I am. I have received two tickets just in the last two months. Geez! Why don't these pointy head uniformed individuals leave me alone?

I have a point too but my hat covers it up :D

My 67 yr old mom has never had a speeding ticket. In her life.

I budget for speeding tickets. If I get stopped, I never get credit for my clean, crew-cut hair, my life-time Baptist ministers crusader carder, my halo, my brand new bible, my old bible, my spiritual meditation, or anything.

Geez! Everybody has luck getting out of ticket except for me! ! ! ! Pointy headed uniform-wearin' people ! ! ! ! !

LOL I got out of one last weekend. doing about 10-15 over. I'm pretty sure it's the "military police" sticker in the back window, maybe coupled with the firefighter license plate. About the 3rd in the past month I've skated on.

I really need to slow down.

I'm trying to go dive there next weekend. Did my OW with Tim's shop, and doing my Adv nitrox and deco with him right now.

What usually works for me is having my license and insurance ready for them when they get to my window. :) I've got off on numerous tickets. Even on the DPS officer who thought that I was transporting drugs and wanted to search my truck..lol

Yeah the ticket is a true story - saw the guy as we were coming back pulled over with his little dog's head sticking out of the window. He's a friend of my buddy's, very annoying, so I never personally got the details. Per my friend, the cop escorted him to an ATM and insisted he pay the funds then & there. I can't recall if he was a trooper or a local.

I've met Tim - he's a good guy too and runs a nice shop. Its just a little more convenient for me to use Gene since his location's closer than Cookson.

Got a speeding ticket earlier this year....first one in AGES...40 in a 30mph. I used to write a lot of tickets in my younger street days......I remember the first hand held radar units...what fun! :D
