How did you get the back off to replace the battery?lol… six years later, I just put a new battery in my one of these, fired it up and its good to go. It did nothing at first, so i stuck a needle in the hole for the sensor and it lit up, went through a booting process and seems to work.
I trained with one of these when they were current, so every time I look at it a nostalgic little tear wells up in my eye.
I really want a couple of those strap mounts for little pods like this. The console I use is super compact and so is this little computer, and the compass I have that matches - I’d really like to mount them both on a strap with my watch instead of the bulky console they came in. ChatGPT suggested scubaboard or an AirTag holder coz they designed the AirTag to be backwards compatible with tekna micro gauge pods from the 80’s and 90’s… I’m open
