1) I like wrecks!!
In the Area I dive most, Lakes Erie, Ontario, and the St Lawrence Seaway, The deeper you go, the better shape the wrecks are in!! :D
2) not crazy, maybe obsessed!!
3) Get quality equipment and training!! Don't rush, Stay within your comfort zone.
4) I've been very happy with NAUI technical classes. I plan on continuing my Tec training with NAUI.

2. I'm not crazy, I don't listen to the voices anymore
3. Bring the equipment into the house one piece at a time and hide it

1. The wrecks I wanted to see were beyond recreational limits. I also wanted to stay longer and penetrate the wrecks. In addition, next time I'm in Grand Cayman, I want to see the sponge belt.

2. The opportunity to explore and experience the history of those wrecks. Also, the camaraderie of the people with whom I dive.

3. Learn your basic skills cold. Get certified through at least rescue, with a First Aid course that covers O2 administration in addition to first aid. Ask yourself why you want to tech dive, and whether the risks is worth the reward.

4. The instructor is the most important factor in determining training. I took and passed DIR-F, but did my technical training with NAUI Tech. I was extremely pleased, and plan to continue with my current instructors.

Its important to find an instructor whose philosophy matches your own. For example, I would flat out refuse to train with someone who advocates deep air or progressive penetration. That's nothing more than my opinion, but it was important to me.
