Tech diving

I am trying to get a trimix class for late march first part of april. Any recommendations on a good tech diving center would be great. Also is this an ok time to be diving the philippines?

Tech asia in puerto galera is another option. La Laguna Beach Club looked like a very nice place, though I didn't dive there. Just google 'trimix puerto galera' and you'll find plenty of options.

March to May is summer in the Philippines, so thats the best time to go diving in the Philippines. Checkout Savedra in Moalboal, Cebu, http://www.savedra.com/techDiving.htm I cant really tell you how their class is, but they've got a great operation. I'm sure a lot of PPDers will chime in as well.

Both of these guys are Manila based and will teach out of Anilao or Subic.

Manfred Langer a german military diver (former) runs 4 dive centers in Cebu including Savedra w/c he is a major share holder. Second to none in Tech diving in the region.

I used LLBC (la laguna beach club) for my adv nitrox last yr. Nice folks there (Phil and his crew) and they've got a nice setup in the tech room in the back. Actually I used their facilities but not their instructors, as my instructor who is HK base is friends with Phil and has an arrangement with LLBC. But most people seem very happy with the tech instruction at LLBC and there were a lot of returning customers that weekend.

I'll be off to TechAsia this weekend for a normoxic course with David Ross and others. Will report back next week on how it goes.
