Just curious as to how to go about getting into a career in Tech or commercial diving?
Do i need sponsorship and funding or something along those lines?

thaaaaaaaaaaaaankyouu

You'll need funding, yes.

thought so, just dont want to know how much!

A few years back, I estimated that I had around 30k tied up in tech gear, trips and training. My switch to CCR added another 15k to that figure.

Jeeeees, any regrets?
I'm considering moving from FL where there's diving and caves all over to Denver, and I must say I question the amount I've spent. But I've met great friends and had a lot of fun, so I'm not regretful.

Go on to Denver. We have a great group of friends / divers from the Texas, New Mexico, Colorado area. We don't have the quantity of dive sites and you'll end up driving 6 hours one way to decent diving, but we have a lot of fun. :)

With the rock climbing, skiing, backcountry camping, etc that would be new to me, I'm not sure how much diving I'd want to get in.

What types of sites are out there? What do you see?...Caves?...Do people scooter there too, or does my lazy butt have to swim? :dontknow:

A career in technical diving is way different than a career in commercial diving, in every way - costs, opportunities, day-to-day activities.

What do you actually want to do?

I lived in Denver. It's awesome. No diving though, unless you like to DRIIIIIVE. I never did dive out there. It's completely unlike east coast, everything is way distanced. But you probably know that already.
