I noticed some divers with doubles and another rebreather diver at Keystone last weekend while I was doing the jetty dive in quiet mode (JJ-CCR). Is there more known cool stuff out there deeper? Anybody know those divers? I must have missed them beachside, otherwise I'd have asked while there.

People often dive recreationally with doubles and just make one really long dive. People like Aaron Moser are on rebreathers to get a lot closer to sea life for pictures/video.

While I dive sidemount, I've never gone deep. Only during a rare significant slack have I gone beyond and around the jetty to explore.

I'd be curious if anyone has gone deeper and discovered anything interesting. I kind of doubt it.

A little GIS amusement attached
Blue is recreational depths; pink 40 to 60m range...
There is a wee bit of featuring SSE of the jetty, 30m / 100ft depths after perhaps 250 metres
As for where one might end up on a mis-read current, who knows...
