True... but I'm waiting for him to claim he's done his 600ft dive next. I think he just needs to finally spill it.

TheRedHead:
Both of these are strictly intro with a depth limit of 150 feet and 1 deco gas.

Are you sure about the 1 deco gas? I used 2 on the last dive of my deco course and I dont see anything in the TDI standards ,or on the card itself to limit the number of deco gasses.

I chose TDI over IANTD so that I would get a card good for 100% O2.

Your rite i am, im 16 as well. I dont have to worry bout my gear i have everything that i need. Doubles, HID Light,Wing,Harness Regs,Drysuit, etc etc. I have got the ok, to do all the classes through IANTD, but i was wondering about TDI. The posts i posted before were just out of curiosity and they got looked at in the wrong way. I was simply just asking what skill that TDI does. I have no problem doing vavle shut downs, lift bag, deployin long hose etc. I understand the concept of deco, from physics, to physicalgy, to N2 Loading etc. I have read most books out there from just simplle ow to Tech Books. I feel that i am ready to advance, i wouldnt if i wasnt ready, but ever since the DIR and Hog thing, nobody really tells me anything. I ask most questions just out of curisosty, like how ppl set up there gear. In windsor, we set up out doubles unlike most ppl, and i was just looking at anyother ideas to just imporve it. I want to do tech and im ready for deco, ive spend alot of time working on skills like bouyancy and soo on, so i dont need ppl to tell me to slow down, because im going at the speed at which is right for me

I believe IANTD is one deco gas, TDI is pretty instructor dependent. I used 1 deco gas in my TDI Deco Procedures and 2 in IANTD Technical Diver (same as TDI Extended Range). I personally don't see any need for 2 deco gasses on 150 foot dives.

its good that you wanna advance so do i but even i have read your posts claiming your 6/92 mix dive to 400 ft i wanna go further to but not to 400 ft atleast not for years to come

There's a lot more than buoyancy that you need to worry about, there is also maturity. When you are telling people that you've done 400 Foot dives, how should they trust you about any of your other experience/skills. I could tell you right now, you haven't shown me the maturity that I need to trust you on a recreational dive.

How can you expect people to think you are ready for anything after reading your previous posts? The most important qualifications for technical diving are sound judgement and maturity. If you think you can learn to do it on the internet or by reading books, you've already failed the sound judgement and maturity tests. If you can convince a tech instructor you are ready, then have at it!

Edit: Fishboy beat me to it. ;)

First of all, i would like you to go baq and read them, when i said bout the 400ft dive, i never actually said that i have made a 400 foot dive, and when i said about the heilox mix, i was sayin the double bladder might not be a bad idea. When it come to maturity, u wouldnt beable to tell over someones posts, Im mature and i have good judgement, u are unable to tell that other the computer. I have the maturity to do the things the arre benficiale for me. Im mature enough to support my slef to get the gear do the classes. I have the maturity to do these classes, you may no see it, but yet, why do i care what you think, ive dove with my inst. and even asked to go diving with them. Some of the things i may have said to not determine me as a person

You can learn the math, and deco tables from books, but u cant learn skills. I will admit that there is tons more stuff for me, and everyone else to learrn, and i would never do anithing that i am not ready too

Your life, not mine...
