I use SS BP with both singles and double Worthington X8-119, works fine with both (I dive drysuit), just varying the wing, usually 30 for singles and 40 or 60 for doubles depending on how many stages, salt or fresh water. With singles (AL80s) I just add extra weight in the singles adapter and in two pockets on the tank rigs to adjust the trim, with steel singles (Worthington X7-100) I don't need the extra weight in the adapter. With doubles just BP and the tanks.

Worthington's seem to be the best call these days. Several dive shop owners have told me the white painted Fabers have rust issues galore.

I don't like fabers. I find nitrox is no good for them

nitrox, or trimix for that matter

While Fabers are not my personal tank of choice I have to say, huh? If you're going to make statements like those perhaps you could attempt to back them up?

It is true that they will rust quite badly under the boots - at least the very poor non draining boots that are usually found on them now the older and much more open (and much larger in diameter) SP boots worked much better.

However, boot issues aside the Faber paint is very durable and rust is not normally a problem. As for inside the tank, if anything Worthington tanks rust more but I frankly have never noted any difference.
