Wanting to buy a used tank.
The marking on the tank is:
REE 74.6cc
DOT E134/3500
52164174 HP100

Was wondering if anybody could tell me how to read these markings.

Thanks

DOT Exemption E134
3500 psi (High density steel tank)
52164174 - Serial Number
HP100 - High Pressure 100 cubic Feet

REE is likely the manufacturer or distrubutor, but someone more knowledgable will have to confirm that.

The REE number is used in the Hydro testing process. The number next to it has something to do with the allowable displacement when the tank is tested. I don't know what it stands for though.
