Never seen that one but there was or is a manufacturer of aluminum tanks called Metal Impact - maybe they used the initials at one point. What tank and how old?

It is a Metal Impact cylinder. They inherited (took over) the traditional Luxfer scuba line and have subsequently rebranded to Thunderbird Cylinders.
Another way to positively id a cylinder manufacturer is the "M" number.
