I use those white rope Christmas lights. You can pick up the 3ft ones after Christmas for about a buck or two.

I have been trying to keep photographic records of the inside of my tanks but it has not been easy. This may be just the right tool.

It doesn’t actually say that you can save the picture, but I can’t imagine that it doesn’t offer that ability. I will have to get more info.

A bit expensive for personal use, but not too bad.

I found the 3 ft to be a bit long for most tanks.

I bought my rope light from this company:

You can buy a 1.5 ft section from here:

Or you can get it in 12 volts in a 2 ft section here:

The 12 volt would be safer if you get a short.

Very nice, this beats a 2X dental mirror for inspecting the inner shoulder of the cylinder.

Looks cool, but....
According to other websites with reviews it does not allow you to save pictures, and it appears that it would still require a mirror attachment which could be a limitation.
Would like to try one though
