Hydro dates 2 83 Dimentions are 25.5 high and 22 inches around

any help would be appreciated Thank you

All three seem to be steel 72.

In 1971 there were no steel 80’s

The other two tanks are basically the same but they must be a bit older since the stamp is ICC (Interstate Commerce Commission) rather than DOT (department of transportation).

The 3AA means they are made of Chrome- Molybdenum steel, per CFR49.

If they are galvanized tanks, they are very good tanks…painted are OK if you dive mostly fresh water.

If I remember correctly, HJ was stamped on tanks made by PST and sold by Healthways. It was common then for companies to make tanks that were then marketed by other companies. (like Worthington and XS scuba today)

The first tank would have been made in July 71 and the last hydro test was May 2004. B568 is the code for the hydro test facility that did the recertification.

The DOT was formed in April '67 so the switch from ICC to DOT markings would have occurred in mid 1967.
