Hi all:

Can anyone give me a good resource for purchasing tank gas content stickers. I don’t care for the type my shop uses. They are too small for me and difficult to write on. I like the PADI stickers, but they are a bit costly for me to purchase. I know I could just use duct tape, but I like the looks of a professionally made tag. ( Just me, no reason ). I have found only a hand full of online links and they all refuse to sell retail, and will only deal with dive shops. Any help would be appreciated.

What kind of information do you want on the sticker? Of that information, what do you want to me most prominent, if anything?

Try www.iantd.com . Specifically, http://www.iantd.com/decals.html .

Of course, you could buy a pack of Avery Laser Labels and print your own on your computer; not sure how you would water-proof them, though.

I have tried the Avery labels. They look nice but not water proof. Avery does make what they call a weather proof address label, but I have not gotten my hands on any of them yet.

As for the information I want on the label: I just need the standard gas content info. Oxygen % , Helium % , Date , Name of fill station , Analyzers name and perhaps a spot for tank serial number and tank pressure.

Like I said in the original post, the PADI stickers are ok, but you get charged a premium for them.

Or the GUE gas analysis tape. $24 for a roll of the tape. Gives you the basic info without the bling bling.

I still use duct tape.
