Another article suggests that an explosive device may have been used in a murder. First article...

An as-yet-unidentified diver is suspected to have suffered a fatal accident due to the explosion of his oxygen cylinder, which has resulted in the loss of his life.

The victim was a diver and was found by two foreign nationals who were traveling in a dinghy to their boat. These two people immediately took him out of the water and transported him to the Port of Saranda, where he was then taken by the ambulance to the hospital.

Despite efforts to save him, the diver did not manage to survive.

After the notification of the incident, the Police immediately arrived at the scene. The investigative team is working intensively to fully clarify the circumstances of this tragic event. Investigations are focusing on identifying the victim and determining the cause of the explosion.

Followup with the suspicions....

The person you see in the photo is Armand Nelaj, who was found dead last night in the sea of ??Saranda after an explosion.

Media sources say that 52-year-old Nelaj has owned a heavy construction equipment company for 13 years. Yesterday evening it was said that the oxygen cylinder had exploded during the dive and as a result the diver died.

This seems to be one of the scenes, as another track being investigated is that of the murder. Investigators are continuing the investigation as they suspect that the explosion occurred as a result of an explosive substance. We recall that the explosion occurred around 22:00 on Monday in the coastal city of Saranda, 100 meters from the Sea Port.

Initially, it was said that the explosion happened in a boat, but the Police through an official announcement announced that a raftsman died and it is suspected that his oxygen cylinder accidentally exploded while diving into the sea.

The police of Saranda are intensively investigating the incident, as an investigative group led by the Prosecutor's Office of Saranda has been set up.
