Thanks,
but I always HAD the proper diagram from Mares - kidna hard to make it come out right when the manufacturer REVERSES assembly of the BUCKLE, huh? Kinda changes things, huh when you thread it?

You're a funny bugger. :)

Yeah, the slots are still the same though.

But you already knew that

And for the record, I don't think I'd classify myself and not be very handy.

My LDS freely admits that it has taken him 4 years to master the threading of tank straps -
Well... I amend my last post...

Don't take it to that LDS...

And if you feel *handy* give it a whack!

and you might want to go check your strap and see which side the velcro is on.

I did, and it's on the right side. :D

Reviewing the thread, I guess the ascii diagram threw me. I'm still not clear where his velcro is. Spatial concepts don't appear to be my strong point.

Scuba446 - sorry if I gave you some bum advice. And to satisfy my curiousity, where is the velcro in the very first picture you posted, on the inside or outside of the loop?

I've ever read.

I completed my PADI Master Buckle Threader course 2 years ago.
We had to read a book 436 pages, and make 2 dives.

Took the DIR course, it lasted 12 min, took off those damn plastic buckles and put on SS ones.

This thread is a hoot.

I'm sitting here watching the front door to make sure no one comes in and post anything that might hurt anyone else feelings...

And the lizard slithers in off the back porch and bites me...
