A while back I took a couple of matching tanks in for their hydro and went in to pick them up today. Both were matching yellow but one was a little off.
The shop owner said he picked up the tanks from the hydro shop and noticed a shinny spot on one. A closer inspection showed a chunk of metal missing from the side of the tank. Not a scratch or a nick, but a chunk of metal missing. Over 50% of the metal thickness was gone.
No argument out of the hydro shop. They said something like a forklift must have hit it.
Remedy, the tanks dont match but the old one was a 1993 vintage and the replacement is a 2003.
Hummmmm, I think I made out.
14 more hydros and Im done for this cycle.
