I rented a one bedrm for under $1300 off VRBO at 7mile beachresort a couple of yrs ago. Nice kit., nice screened porch a few steps to a pool and another pool length to 7mb, this is the beach area:

We only did boat dives on East End. The snorkeling is great but we would have to drive for shore diving.
