hi all zen divers,
we are so inert these day. aren't we?
today i dove my Dolphin at Tago, which is on the west coast of Izu Peninsula. it was unusually warm with the water temp of 21 degrees in C (70F) and lots of sunshine. i dove 5mm wetsuit with a hood and was not cold.
in the morning we had no wind and could see Mt Fuji with snow on top. as the sea was flat, we went outside of Tago Bay. a huge group of TAKABE (Labracoglossa argentiventris) was particularly noticeable. i also saw several ISHIDAI (Oplegnathus fasciatus), which are very tasty if baked with salt! in the afternoon, however, we were cursed with strong west winds and 3 meter high surge.
the weather forecast said it would be much cooler tommorow with possible rain fall. it is likely that, for this year, today is the last day when diving in wetsuit is enjoyable. we are getting into the winter season finally.
