Hello,
Someone in my travel group is traveling on TACA to Roatan. Their web site says they have a 22 pound weight limit on carry ons. Does anyone know whether this is enforced? Do they actually weigh carry ons?

Thanks.

Hit and miss! I have been with more a number of times, but it only takes one FA or CP to ruin your day! All airlines are losing money due to fuel cost! They are trying everything to cut down expense or charge you to check your bag! But the tip is try and if you have to check do it at the gate, cheaper rate!

The last time I flew Taca from Miami, they weighed every carryon and enforced the 10 Kg (22 Lb) limit.

That's good to know, I never would have guessed a weight limit on
carry on. My last trip I actually had my regulator and some clothing
in my carry on in order to keep my main bag limit under 50 lbs. I might
have to weigh carry on if I ever fly Taca Airlines. I did see some decent
rates with this airline earlier in the week.
