Well, we are heading off to OZ tomorrow morning.

We of course are doing a live aboard on the GBR / Coral Sea near the end of our trip, but would like to get some diving in while we are in Sydney.

We are in Sydney Sep 1-5 (M-F) Are there any good beach dives or boats that go out for a day Tue - Wed - Thurs of that week. We are flexible on the day.

What is the weather like out ther? Is a 3 mil wetsuit sufficient?

What are the dont miss sites for diving in Sydney? Good dive shop? We are staying in the Darling Harbour area.

Thanks!

Matt,

Used to live in Syndey and run Syndey University Underwater Club .. so we've done most of the shore dive sites there. There's plenty to see - try Bare Island, Kurnell (both South) or Shelly beach of Manly many many more ...

To find operators in Sydney use

http://www.underwater.com.au

Australia's hottest dive site.

Have fun ... and get something warmer than a 3 mm suit - temps will be around 16-18 degrees Centigrade.

See you underwater ....

Tim:) :) :)
