Those swivels are very heavy.........in fact they seem to be as heavy as a quality graphite 1st stage. I had one before my Fundies class when I was using a 5ft primary hose that seemed like it was pulling too much. My problem was my long hose was too short. I switched to a 7ft hose in class and got rid of the swivel. Problem solved and much more comfortable.

Uncle Pug:
There is dynamic and then there is dynamic:

The dynamic o-ring in a 360d swivel is a face seal o-ring and can be extruded through the gap between the halves of the swivel, especially if the screw holding the halves together backs off a bit..

Done that, switched to angled, and now just wrap it around my neck. Since this is not a DIR question, why don't you move it somewhere else where more people may read it. The 360' swivel is a terrible idea that seems like a great idea until you understand how it works and how quickly and easilly it doesn't work.

It was posted in the DIR forum and therefore was answered as a DIR question. Rather than move this thread out of the DIR forum feel free to start another thread on the same subject out in one of the main forums where non-DIR answers can be included as well.
