Have you tried sporting goods stores; the kind that care swimsuits for competative swimmers? They usually have suits all year round due to HS and college swim teams (I went to HS in NEPa and swim season is just starting to kick in now).

Good luck.

All I know is that Jersey would look confortable and fine in anything lol ! And hey her interests are DM's, like me...wishful thing on my part. Seriously though I've found the tankini's made by Speedo to have a good rep with the diving ladies in my club !
:)

Christine -

That's a good idea! I hadn't thought of that. Just have to find one in this podunk town!

I'll check out my phone book and maybe I'll hit the streets tomorrow. Mall, sporting goods, etc!

thanks again!

Well after a trip around town, I have come to my decision in my swimsuit dilema...I'm buying in COZ!

I appreciate all of your help and online suggestions. We leave Friday so I think I am just going to wing it and see what happens.

I'll report back on my trip after our 7 days out there!! YIPPEE!!!:D

Cozumel is full of great swimsuits and so is Playa Del Carmen.

For Diving I usually go with a Bikini Bottom and a T-shirt of some sort, I seldom wear a Bikini Top unless I am haning out by the pool, On the beach I usually go topless.

If you are looking for a great place to eat try the La Mission. there is like 3 of them so ask for the one with the Lions (its not in town you will need a taxi to get there). Its was originally a Hacienda and it is both beautiful and very romantic! I suggest going before it gets dark to look around the grounds and see the lions and birds etc. But in time for it to get dark and enjoy the ambiance of the romantic candles and beauty of your surroundings.

Have Fun

A one-piece suit is fine unless you feel the need for a bathroom. I hate the naked feeling in a strange place like Coz, (the bathrooms are kind of hit and miss when it comes to nice) when you have peeled off the wet, wetsuit, then the one-piece comes off too. I have found a tank-ini works best.

Sorry, I did not see any suits there but I was not looking.

wow,
I have never thought about any of this... will be wearing a 5mm in PV in a few weeks... now feel like I really need to get a 2 piece..... Any suggestions?? As a big busted, overweight and short female I have NEVER considered a two piece, but it sounds like that's better for diving and going to the 'bathroom'. YIKES! This is sounding scarier all the time.... I know I would scare off the fishes in a two piece, just hope the DM doesn't scare as easily.

I cave dive in Akumal in a 7mm jumpsuit with a one-piece bathing suit underneath. I've no problem tinkling in the jungle or in primitive banos. No need to uncover anything other than pulling your wetsuit down......PM me and I'll explain.....you'll say "duh" when I tell you how easy it is.

Who is going to see your swimsuit if you are wearing a skin or a wet suit most of the time anyway. I have had 5 children, all C- section. My first pregnancy was twins. My stomach is nothing anyone would like to look at. Who cares though, I wear my skin most of the time.
