Troy and I made it to Spirit Lake, Iowa. It's really pretty up here, lots of snow but the roads are clear and it was an easy drive. We have seen the ice hut on the lake and I have some pics on my website. Looking forward to tomorrow. Get this, we actually bought a cooler to keep water from freezing while we are in the ice hut. It's cold, 7 degrees.

Iowa... I've been there before...
Some of the folks are pretty cool too but at
the lakes in the Winter there are a lot of " Ice Holes " !!!

I am glad I am not the only Texan that thought the ice diving class looked like fun. Maybe in a few years when I can actually afford a dry suit I will make it up north for one.
