Hi, Everybody. I just want to say 'THANK YOU" for all of the Great advise, I have received on my previous posts. I have a SUUNTO ZOOP NOVO dive computer. I have ordered the USB interface cable. So, I can connect it to my LapTop . I know I first need to down load the drivers and software. Is there any YouTube videos, that I can watch, to learn how to use all of the functions adequately??

Whether you find videos to watch or just read the manual, take the time to understand how it works and what all the settings actually do. It's pretty common on liveaboard boats to see divers lock up their computers by accident, which puts them and the crews awkward situations.

While I'm not familiar with the Zoop Novo, my wife has the old style Zoop and I have the Vyper Novo Air, so I do know a little about Suuntos. Just read over the quick start guide and familiarize yourself with the buttons and menus. Suuntos are quite easy to navigate once you do that.

And while I've not used any, I do think there are some videos online on how to use them.

Make sure you keep your little laminated "cheat sheet" that comes with the computer with you. If you go more than a week without diving you will need to refresh yourself with the sheet prior to making changes to your air. And if you hardly ever change your air % then you will need that cheat sheet even more.

I own a Suunto Zoop Novo and how I learned to operate it is just ask the Divemasters on my dives. Most of them have used a Suunto at sometime and the interface is quite similar to other entry level Suunto's so they are failry familiar with it.

Honeslty, Its quite foolproof, just put it on and dive and it does the rest. And like someone suggested above, read the manual, specially about how to access your dive log and minimum time before flying.

If you have a specific question about it, please feel free to start a conversation with me :)

Cheers.
