Suunto Vyper connection problems to Suunto DM5.

Hi everyone.

I have had Suunto DM4 on my pc for ages now and when I have connected my Vyper to it, there have been no problems at all. It has always transfered data fine. I have just gone to connect to my pc and it offered me the free upgrade to DM5. I downloaded it, connected to it and nothing happens. I go to data transfer in the Vyper, then 'select', then get told there is no device connected. Am I the only one experiencing this ... ??? ... Thanx for reading ... :)
 
I had similar issues with my Vyper and Hel02. Never could get it to work so I switched to Subsurface and then later dumped them and bought a Petrel 2.

Thanx for that Scott, I am going to call Suunto tomorrow to see what they say. :)
 
I would look for another logging program. Dive Manager has been a very twitchy piece of software for many people. On the PC side I would look at Subsurface or some of the other PC logging programs that are out there that are more stable and user friendly and would sync with your iPhone/pad or Android device.
I can not make any specific software recommendations fo the PC others than Subsurface as I use a Mac.
