image.jpeg Hi all,

My Suunto D9 is stuck in dive mode thinking I'm at 200m deep with 316 bar of oxygen and have been for the last 170minutes??

I completed a 58min dive at a max depth of 20meters. After we surfaced the watch started acting strange. See the attached pics for details.

Anybody know how to fix this? I can't get it out af the dive mode.
Is there a reset procedure?

Many thanks,

Very typical of suunto computers, though this is the first time I've seen it happen to the D9.

Removing the battery is a good idea. Beyond that is increasing invasive "treatment" including warm / hot water, bleach, vinegar.

Hoping for the best.

Probably you have solved your D9 problem by now. In case not, most likely your pressure sensor is dead. Has to go back to Suunto and they are going to charge a significant amount to install a new one. We could open it for you, remove the battery, close it back and see what happens. But I´m very not optimistic that following this path will make it work again. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply!!!
The problem couldn't be solved!!! The service centre I brought it to for a battery replacement didn't close the watch properly.
After care from Suuntonwas great!!!!
Got a new watch within a few days.
