Suunto D9 discontinued

Anyone know why the Suunto D9 has been discontinued?

Yeah, their site dosen't say anything about the watch, but other watch sites say it's no more. I ask cause I am/was think about getting one.

It isn't. Just spoke to Suunto direct here in the UK and he just laughed at the suggestion, so I would think it is someone who has been misinformed.

Suunto has two types of dealerships.....watch or dive. The D9 has been available from both. They are removing the D9 from the watch dealers. Apparently, AL didn't like them selling to the watch dealers, who routinely discount.

I apoligise. I just went onto their site from my home computer, rather than my work one, and boom, there is the D6 & D9. I guess I was logging onto an older version of their site along with seeing a watch website saying they were done.

So there is hope to get one now. If only I wasn't too stupid to deserve one.
