Hi all,

I am in the market for a watch size dive computer and have settled on the suunto D6i black. However, after some research it is evident that with the steel strap version is prone to breaking.
Does anyone know if this is the same for the elastomer strap?

Cheers :D

Hi,
we have recently improved both the metal straps and the elastomer straps. The metal straps have metal links instead of plastic now making it more robust. The elastomer straps are made of silicone now and their thickness was increased as well. The silicone material is more a matter of comfort but the increased thickness will be a plus in that respect. All "versions" are currently in the market though, so please contact a dealer for specific guidance... Suunto Dealer Locator
