In a repetative dive series where I am switching back and forth between air and EAN I would also rather see my O2 build up in an easy to interpret format. The most obvious reason is that using too much bottom time can force an unplanned deco stop, but loading up too much Oxygen can kill you quickly. Underwater convulsions are bad things.
(And yeah, I know it's my responsibility to plan my dive, dive my plan and to dive conservatively for safety's sake.)

Personally, I'd rather have the OTU meter there than the CBT meter, since, as it's been stated, I can already see my NDL on the screen at all times, but without the OTU meter, there's no (brain rotted) method of seeing this information.
