JustinW:
Ishie, are you ready for the November Nor-Cal Scubaboard dive/crab feed fest in Bodega in just a few weeks!!!.

FYI, for everyone that isn't familiar with the area, salmon creek is a seal haulout. Why anybody would get in the water at that particular beach is beyond me!

VERY sadly, I will probably be in the Philippines at that time, though a crab feed in Bodega might *just* be worth canceling... on second thought... nah...

Sharks will not be far from my mind though. I'm told the Philippines has some absolutely vicious white tip reef sharks on earth that could make mincemeat out of the most aggressive GW. I'm even told the white tips will turn to humans a source of food providing the victim drags them out of a hole by the tail, pries their jaws apart, and sticks an arm in their mouths.

I'm also told the water is uncomfortably warm. As a Monterey diver, once I encounter water temperatures above 60 degrees, I break into sweats, and above 65, I become a candidate for a serious bout of heat stroke.

But they do say we must suffer for our sport...
:D
