Anyone catch SURFACE (TV Show) ?
It seems to be about a sea creature, but has some diving related to it.
Seems like a "cheap mini-series" to me. Everything from from a
mini sub, to the US Navy, to neighbor hood kids, to the "babe"
marine scientist, to bobba divers.
Had some divers in them. Showed them diving with a fake dive
computer at 218 feet deep (on a single tank). The diver passed
out and they put him in the "decompression chamber" at the hospital.
(Now this decompression chamber was the worst fake effort I've ever
seen. It was a clear plastic oxygen/germ tent that they drape over
a bed. The kind they use for burn patients to get more oxygen to
their burned bodies. I mean it was a really bad, poor, non-researched
item put onto TV. They could have at least done a google search
and found at least a half way better example of one to use on the
show.....)
Don't know how long this show will last. USA Today gave it 1 star
out of 4. The special effects graphics in it were pretty poor.
They were cheaply animated. Kids video games had better grahics
than they used....
oh well.... anyone else watch it?
