Has any one thought of putting something like "Halocarbon"'s inert wax inside a steel tank to protect it from rusting?

Wax?

From their web site:

Halocarbon Inert Lubricants….The Safer Choice Inert, nonflammable, noncorrosive, hydrocarbon free and low toxicity-these are properties of Halocarbon inert lubricants. Halocarbon first commercialized these polychlorotrifluoroethylene-based lubricants over 50 years ago.
Today, we offer a wide range of inert oils, greases and waxes to meet industry’s needs worldwide. Our lubricants’ inertness is required for safe handling of highly reactive and /or aggressive chemicals such as oxygen, chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, sulfur trioxide and nitric acid.

There could be something here!

Possible liver toxicity
Signs of fluoride poisoning
nausea,
shortness of breath
loss of appetite

I don't mind you guys try it first.
