In anyones experience, hows travelling in BKK for a single woman? Any adivse?

Thailand is in general a very safe and pleasant country to travel in for foreigners. It is good to know though that as a single female it's best to dress properly while on the road and when not in touristy areas. This does not mean that you have to be covered up from head to toe! Wearing pants/jeans and a T-shirt with sleeves will do just fine.
Thais are in general quite conservative when it comes to showing "flesh" and topless sunbathing or wearing a G-string on the beach is quite un-Thai....
Also please remember that when visiting temples/religious sites you best wear long pants and (T-) shirt with sleeves. Remove your shoes at those places where Thais remove their shoes too (This can be anywhere from someone's home to temple buildings and from offices to moms and pops shops!)

:D

Thanks for your advice everyone! I had meant to go on here and thank everyone when I got back from Koh Tao. We were lucky actually and end up diving with BANS instead. Not to mention staying in their new accommodations at the top of the hill. Which look like little 3 story apartments. And as for the advice around BKK, I had no troubles even though I was alone for over a week. No worries. It also didn't hurt that I went during Songkran so it was super busy!

Thanks again!
