Is any up for a Sunday Lobster dive at cape ann this coming Sunday the 19th. I am thinking Plum cove. I have a Dry suit i want to try out.....Fireguy

There's a good chance I'll be there Sunday as well. I'm expecting my new dry suit in any day now and I'm hoping for a check out dive this weekend. I've had good luck with the bugs at Plum lately.

Fireguy, I checked your profile and your picture has you standing in the water with two buddys of mine as well. Do you belong to the Fitchburg Club?

I have the 1pm boat scheduled for a scallop dive at cape ann divers. I think there is still room.

I'm hoping to get some dives in on Sunday or Monday (Oct. 19 or 20, 2003).

I'll be diving wet for a few more weeks though, til the drysuit comes in.

Let me know what you're planning.

let me know what time. I am also diving wet till i get my dry suit patched.

I'll be going out tomarrow AM to either Plumb Cove or Whites Beach in Mancester by the Sea. My dry suite arrived last night!!! I've had the seals cut back and all fits very nicely. I'll be doing a couple of training dives with my buddy/instructor that owns the local dive shop. If you out there, and you see a happy - warm looking guy with a brand new, blue over black, DUI 450 Signiture Series dry suite on, come on over and say hello.........Al

Dash how was your new suit? My buddy Barry was there and said the water was very cold. Im sorry i couldnt make it but my head is stuffed like a turkey. I cant clear my ears on land....Stay Safe

I dove with Barry for a while.
The dry suit is awsome as you might well imagin. My first time using one. It fit perfect, and with the 400 gram undies I was warm as toast. My first dive I managed to get my boyancy issues worked out as well as dealing with the feet_up thing. After that it was smooth swimming. I was amazed how easy it was to maintain nuteral bouyancy with the dry suite as compared to using the BC. Great stuff......Al

Fireguy274 once bubbled...
My buddy Barry was there and said the water was very cold.

Where's Barry from? I was diving wet in the Boston harbor islands, and I was snug as a bug. 53.6 at the surface when I checked the thermometer on the fishfinder.
