Went to the winter boat ramp for a quick dive. Viz was awful, but the water is warming up nicely. 8' viz +/-, 82 on the surface, and 72 @50 feet.

Heard this weekend vis was awful and lake is getting pretty low. I think they start to drain it next week.

Heard this weekend vis was awful and lake is getting pretty low. I think they start to drain it next week.

I dove the lake on Sunday at Longpoint. The vis was only about 6 ft down to around 20-25 ft then on down to 65 ft the vis improved to around 20 ft. The lake is low due to the lack of rain according to Eric at Sarges.
