Mara, I always enjoy Antigua. The diving experiences aside, I think it's a wonderful island.
Goldenroom, that's tough without knowing what your wife thinks is "cool." I think I'd rate St. Lucia first, Barbados second... Curacao third because I think the town itself is so pretty. After that... for me they all blend a bit. St. Maarten is neat for the two different (and they really are) countries on the same island. I wouldn't put Nassau on the list of topside "cool" sites, though. Aruba's natural bridge is cool, though part of it collapsed this winter .
None of them would be dogs depending on what you wanted.
