Suggestions on diving Baja

Hi,

I'm looking for advise from people who have had extensive dive trips and experience in and around baja, the sea of Cortez, as well as the pacific coast side.

When is the best time of year to dive Baja? What was your favorite diving destination, and who would you most reccommended for a dive guide outfit? I would prefer to by-pass any that cater to mostly sardine-can resort type diving.

Any advise or information would be greatly appreciated.
