A couple months ago, I picked up an Atmos Mission 2 computer and took it on a trip. I was able to log my dives to the Atmos app, then export the .uddf to Subsurface, and everything looked fine. For some reason, I looked at it today and all the dives I did with the Mission 2 looked like this in the iOS app. iphone and ipad. The dives from before the trip I did with my Mares Quad still look fine. If I look at the same dives on my laptop, everything looks normal on the profile there. Since it's on the mobile app, I can't hover the cursor over the warnings to see what these are actually trying to tell me. I'm wondering if Subsurface isn't playing well with the Mission 2. Anyone else seen this? The difference in computers or salt vs fresh is the only thing I can think of that would be different. I even tried re-importing one of the dives and came up with the same result.

If I were to guess I’d say the dive computer reports the nitrox mix with every sample when diving nitrox, and Subsurface interprets this as a switch to nitrox with every sample.
I suggest reporting this to the developers, in the app under help is an option ‘ask for support’, which sends an email to them.
Or ask at Subsurface Divelog - Google Groups

Going with the above theory, do you have any nitrox dives on the Mares to compare to the Atmos?

Erik
Unfortunately, no. It was the first big trip where Nitrox made sense. The theory makes sense, but I never thought the gas would be registered each sample. I figured it was a one and done thing, but since I don’t tec dive, I forgot gas switching was a thing. I sent the uddf amd some other info off to subsurface. Maybe they’ll find something.
