Ever met any Submariners? Even though they are 1 atm I think many have a condition similar to being narc'd that never goes away.:D

plot:
Imagine the narc'd out sailors launching torpedo's at sperm whales...

"Skimmer Navy" don't call em' "bubble-heads" for nuttin'... :rofl3: :rofl3:

halemano:
Any good links for ambient/bubble subs? Most I see are scuba/wet subs.

I've always had trouble finding information on personal subs on the net, but http://www.psubs.org/ is a decent site if to look around and learn about them... (it's a build your own sub type of site)

Nope! Haven't met one, but I've seen them on TV! Like the ones in the movie "Down Periscope"!

The military Submarine environment is at 1 ATM but, the atmoshere often experiences minor pressure changes, so bubble heads are always equalizing. It get a little irritating but they get used to it.

The atmosphere stays the same almost all of the time. You almost never have to equalize.

Not on the two boats I was stationed on, we were equalizing pretty often! It sucked when I'd wake up from a headache because of pressure changes
