Hello Monmouth County Volunteers,

On the afternoon of 7/9/2015, an entangled humpback whale was spotted approximately 2 miles east of Sandy Hook. Unfortunately, the sighting was not immediately reported to us and the current location of the whale is unknown. Please spread the word to anyone you know who may be on the water this weekend, and advise them to call us immediately with any sightings at 609-266-0538. The whale is dragging a yellow buoy with a yellow flag.

Thank you so much,

Danielle Brown
