The company itself is very standup operation. I have recently started working with Sub-Gravity as a dealer and i'm working towards getting myself the XCCR or Defender. Both units have proven track records, especially the defender as a hammerhead product.

Now that Sub-gravity is in charge I think it's going to be a stellar machine and getting into either will make you very happy. There is something to be said for being able to drive to the manufacture and deal with things directly that not alot of customers get.

I may as well plug Jon and Lauren Keiren too. They did my training and did a stellar job. Not only did they teach me the unit itself, but they also managed to instill some long forgot basic refreshers and some new aspects of diving at the the same time. Probably some of the most comprehensive training that I have ever taken. They even managed to make it fun and enjoyable for me to look like a complete idiot as I learned the skills and drills.

Also, +1 to Jon and Lauren.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. We are happy to help answer any questions anyone has regarding the SubGravity Defender and X-CCR, or to arrange a demo on the units if you'd like to take a closer "hands on" look at them.

We have been on the units since the "HammerHead" days, and have been extremely impressed with the progression on both the Defender and X-CCR. They are both built on an extraordinarily robust platform and offer multiple configuration options to fit whatever needs to you have, whether it's small and compact travel unit or an expedition sized unit with up to a 9lb radial scrubber.

The electronics packages offered on both units are fantastic. The X-CCR offers the bells and whistles such as CO2 monitoring, redundant power sources, and electronic high pressure gas monitoring in the handset. The Defender offers a very simple electronics solution, incorporating the controller, power supply, and decompression monitoring all in the primary handset.

I try to monitor the forums when I can, but Facebook and email are the quickest ways to get a hold of us if you have any questions about the rebreathers or anything dive training related: www.facebook.com/KIERENTechnical
