I have a Princeton Tec Torrent Xenon which I drive with 8 AA NMHi batteries. It seems to be brighter than most pocket lights. Unfortunately it's beam is very narrow. I find it works great for peering in crevasses during daytime dives, but I didn't care for it so much in a recent cavern dive.
