Hello everyone,

We went down to Fort Lauderdale last weekend. We were going to try to dive on Thursday Oct. 30th., but the waves were to high. Needless to say I was very disappointed. We met Kevin from Underwater Explorers at our hotel. He suggested that he go diving and take the pictures for me, as long as I told him the procedure I was planning on following. He emailed me the pictures on Saturday. They were great. I used Photo Shop to get the red levels for the coke can. My teacher told me that it was O.K. that Kevin took the pictures for me. My finished project is due next week.

I will let everyone know what grade I recieve on this project. I wanted to thank Kevin for all his help. My mom said that we could go back down to Florida to dive and we would contact Kevin when we were coming down. I also wanted to thank Randini for the great explaination of the best way to get the level of red in my pictures.

Cool! Thank you too TasDiver1, for helping with the Coke can and for diving in metric!

To everyone who helped out, thank you. I received my grade for my science experiment. I got a perfect 100 (A) for my presentation and a perfect 100 (A) for my research and report. Not only did I get a great grade but the teacher stated that my project was original. This is important since she has been grading science projects for over 20 years. Because of the change in the age requirement for certification, I was the first one in school to do a project involving Scuba diving.

My problem now will be trying to top this project next year.

Thanks again.
